Analytics for apps built with Bolt
Bolt can build your app with several frameworks. Whichever one it used, StepMetrics goes in with one line in the shared layout and counts every page change.
Add it in Bolt
Ask Bolt's chat to add this line to the layout every page shares, with your site id from the dashboard:

The site id is public. Nothing else from StepMetrics belongs in the builder: no keys, and no setup prompt meant for a coding agent.
Use the address people visit
Add the site under the address your visitors open. Browser traffic from any other address is refused, so a preview running elsewhere never lands in your numbers.
Track signups and payments
Pageviews are automatic, including page changes that do not reload. Name the actions that matter with one call; each one shows up as a conversion and can be a step in a funnel.

Connect Claude Code, Cursor or another MCP client on your own computer with a read-only key, and ask in words where visitors drop out or whether a spike was a crawler. Keep that key out of the builder, since it can read your analytics.
